It's impresive how Hiromu Arakawa (mother of two young children) can make two different manga (Silver Spoon & Arslan Senki) into TOP10 at the same time! And one of them (Silver Spoon) being able to always be first at one of the big three publishers since 2013.

Also enjoy seeing these publication figures placed in perspective.

It's important to notice that this don't reflect the actual sales from the mangas, a big part of them, specially from Shueisha, sells waay more than the first print.

And? i'm not saying that is not clear, i'm stating that many of these series actually sell way more than the first print while many others in the list sell less than the first print, also, believe or not some people actually get confused about these things, so this was my comment and i don't know why you're quoting me as if i said anything about the author =S |

The 7th volume of "Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare" ranked fourteenth in the list for Shueisha and it looks like Sakisaka Io's ongoing series is the only series published in a Shueisha Shōjo magazine, Betsuma, in their list of fifteen.
Volume eight scheduled for April 25, 2018. Theirs is a different list now that the main series in Shiina Karuho's Kimi ni Todoke has been concluded. Seeing Suetsugu Yuki's Josei manga "Chihayafuru" volume 35 on ten in the list for Kodansha was also a welcome sight. Wonder where the first run of volume 37 in her Be Love series eventually landed. Curious if the theatrical run of the live-action film (March 17 premiere) and the (Feb. 25) announcement of a third season for TV anime adaptation (2019) will have a discernible impact on the first run of Japanese volume 38, in print May 13. Also hope the recently released Digital Edition of her tenth volume is doing comparatively well in English translation for Kodansha Comics, overseas ... |
