Does Sentai have a specific platform they stream their titles from? I thought I heard somewhere that one of the streaming sites had exclusives for Sentai titles. Perhaps I am wrong about that.

Huh. I thought Netflix would get this. Sentai getting it is an interesting choice, but I’ll still be watching it anyway. It will very likely be on HIDIVE and I’m becoming more glad that I got a subscription for that service earlier this year.

People thought PonyCan would get this based on them posting a trailer, but I guess it was never set in stone. This is also definitely the kind of show that deserves a fast dub, so I hope HIDIVE gets on that soon enough.
Maybe this means the new Fist of the Blue Sky anime will go to another company as well?

Amazon has it for Japan and it was assumed that Amazon will have it for worldwide. But recently some French streaming service got the rights to it around that region which rules out Amazon having worldwide rights for it. It's still possible for Amazon to have it for US & Canada but CR/Funi or Sentai can possibly get it I guess. |

I am hoping for a good adaptation and was happy to see that AŌP did the opening song. I have to say that it is suspicious that Sentai licensed it but that no mention was made of which company would be streaming it.

Now this is an odd surprise since alot of users including myself assumed pony canyon would get it (or Netflix). Well, I'll be even more interested if this gets a DubCast (so far no mention of hidive yet but hopefully) especially if Jessica Calvello shows up again as the lead

All of Sentai's properties have been streaming on HiDive as of late, and starting this next season, you'll be able to watch both the sub and Dubcast on the same platform, whereas you need 2 subscriptions for CR/Funi (not counting $10/month with VRV). Go here for details. It only costs $3.99 a month which is pretty good. |
