Holy smokes. The musical artists are top notch! Marcus D? Nomak? DJ RYOW? I know I'll be watching this series just for the music. Story-wise...we'll see.

Music! Not idols but DJ's! That's enough of a reason to give this a watch!

Oh wow, they're fully committing to that Hand Shakers aesthetic. That worked for the really well last time /sarcasm

Place your bets: better or worse than Hand Shakers.
My bet is on worse.

Well, their "different" take on CGI might works as music videos (especially 90s or early 2000s)... Assuming these guys are going dj-ing only not fighting.
...
...
Maybe.... Not.

They've been animating in this style since K Project ages ago, Hand Shakers has nothing to do with the aesthetic, and definitely wasn't the first to use it.

I don't get why people use Hand Shakers as a measure of quality of the studio when their most popular and best-selling anime was K Project and that was a pretty good anime. Also place your bets: are you assuming it'll be worse than Hand Shakers because it's aimed at women and anime for women will always be inferior, in the opinion of the greater anime community?
My bet is that yes.

The sad thing is that Hand Shakers has this novelty going on. It's the first anime to feature repulsive nauseating visuals. Replicating the "Hand Shake" experience will just be outriught atrocious as it will give no value to the viewer.

If it's more like K and less like Shakers, I'll be all for it. The premise sounds fun and I am a big fan of the studio's character design.

Thank you for this.
This reminds me of when Diabolik Lovers aired. Just because of how bad it was, more people now assume all otome anime/games are full of abusive guys when that's not the case.

Hopefully they have learned from Hand Shakers not to use their style to excess and that their more skilled animators haven't jumped ship (not unwisely) after that mess. I can't say I'm terribly confident though.

While I'm a big fan of K, after the dumpster fire that was Hand Shakers I'm pretty wary of any project GoHands announces now. Fingers crossed it skews closer to K than their acid-trip-but-not-in-a-fun-way recent endeavors.

Bold: Did you ever stop to think that maybe it could be worse because Hand Shakers was a trainwreck, or did you just hop on the triggered train right to sexism?

I never found Go Hands aesthetic to be pleasing but at least K only had small moments of awful 3D modeling (the helicopter scene in season 2) and the fact the whole series was so blue. If it's like K plus DJs then it should be fine. But the universe doesn't need two Hand Shakers but I bet James will have to review it if it's picked.
