Digimon Cybersleuth: Hacker's Memory: I still need to get around to playing the first title. Thankfully, I just recently completed Odin Sphere Leifthrasir 100%, so I have a slot freed up for a new game.

Monster Strike: It's a shame the game was poorly handled overseas. Removing online co-op, though, has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. At least there are plenty of other gacha games to keep the mobile market occupied at this point. I always do enjoy crossover collaborations in gacha titles, as it's a great way to attract interest.

Ys VIII: I think Ys VIII is becoming more remembered for the "finer points" of its awkward localization. It's a good thing everything else about the title makes it worth playing on every level (hey, it's Ys, the name alone tells you to expect awesomeness where it counts).

I can't wait to get my copy of Digimon Cybersleuth: Hacker's Memory. Hopefully tomorrow. I'm glad to hear about the game rewarding you for playing the first one. I'm happy that digimon from season four will be in it. My favorite character from the fourth season is Koji.

(who get around the problem of "which character best represents FFX" by being a pair)

Given that Tidus is the main character of X whereas Yuna is the main character of X2 the answer to this alleged conundrum is obvious.

Given the current controversy over Arc's Blazblue X Tag Battle DLC plans,

FighterZ hasn't exactly been getting good feedback over it's DLC either.

I realize this isn't saying much, but Hacker's Memory is easily the best and most comprehensive Digimon game out there.

Always great to hear that Habumon's game improved from the previous game. Unfortunately, the use of localized Digimon names (Next 0rder actually used Omegamon instead of Omnimon. Not sure about the other Digimon, but that was an improvement for the series.) is a turn off considering the Cyber Sleuth series is aimed at an older/mature audience. That's inconsistent.

it also assumes you remember the story well enough to follow along with this game's constant winking references to prior twists. There's no hand-holding or tutorializing when it comes to gameplay either; Hacker's Memory treats you like an already-experienced Eden addict who occasionally scratches his head at glimpses of some bigger picture just out of his reach.

It's kind of a shame that you have to play the previous one first to understand it, but it's well worth the effort if you're a true Digimon diehard.

Good. The game was advertised as the back side of Cyber Sleuth repeatedly so people should have played the 1st game after hearing that. Something I wish Tetsuya Nomura would really do with Kingdom Hearts 3. Stop catering to people who don't know anything. He literally made the HD collections to be a recap of the story, but the uncultured folk (people outside of Japan from what I've seen) who refuse to buy them (due to reasons) keep asking for a detailed story summary at the beginning of the game because they haven't played the games since KH2 back in 2005-2006. Fortunately, after stating X Back Cover would recap the events of its mobile game, the recap could only be comprehended by people who played the game because the recap was pretty crap. I have nothing to worry about with KH3 and expect it to be like KH2's opening, which recap the events of the story (1 and Chain of Memories) in its 4 minute opening, but this time it has to recap 1 - 0.2 Birth by Sleep in 4 minutes. Laughing

Sorry. Had to let that out.

I really liked the first Cyber Sleuth game, so I'll be getting Hacker's Memory at some point. Good thing I still have my save from the first game.

I imagine the older audience comment was meant for Japan, not elsewhere. Other territories are still subjected to licensor censoring. They still view it as a kids franchise in America, despite not really being an active one here with no plans to air Hunters or Appli Monsters.

Coming from someone who is a fan of the dub, asking for the English terminology to be consistent any which way is asking far too much.

I've been waiting for a new arcade House of the Dead game for ages, found a video of someone playing it at a loketest and it looks pretty fun with environmental triggers and weapon switching for certain scenarios (wonder if the game allows you to switch weapons freely after they're introduced). Sadly, aside from a few areas, arcades are dead in London. Namco Funscape might get it, and if it does, I'll surely be practising on it like I did HOTD4.

There's already a lot of combos, set-ups and other strategies being developed for Fighterz, it's hard to keep up with it all lol. My brother's getting to grips with the basics and having fun, though he hates arcade mode and the alternative semi-grind for unlocking Blue Goku and Vegeta (didn't get a code with his preorder lol).
