I haven't quite finished season two yet and haven't read any of the manga. But so far I can't stand Bakugo. I'm hoping that his character gets fleshed out more and maybe my opinion will change. I've heard we get to know more about him, so I will happy to see that.

Does anyone know if they'll release the top 11-20 this time? With the two previous polls we got the top 20 characters. I'd love to see if spoiler[Mirio] made it into the list (I was actually expecting him to be in the top 10 tbh).

Bakugo is obnoxious. I don't understand his ranking at all. Deku might be a bit boring, but he's sweet natured, a good friend and a capable hero. If he has to be overshot by another character, let it be Todoroki, who's a bit more complicated, but still a cool, likeable guy.

I'm first and foremost a Bakugo fan so I 100% agree with this list
Idk about other people but I like him cus he's so flawed, loud and has bunch of issues but he's not letting that make him a villain. Also his powers and fighting style is bad along with his costume. I would be extremely disappointed if they made him into a villain cus it would be so cliché... |

So I have only seen the first season of Academia. Does Bakugo develop as character because at the point that I am at, he is still an unlikable psychopath.

What Uraraka really needs is a good character arc and some chapters that focus specifically on her. Until then, people are going to naturally gravitate towards characters like Kirishima, who consistently get memorable character-defining story beats. |

Bakugo is so angry all the time I love it. He is a jerk but he has morals and pride. I am not reading the manga so I don't know what his story is but I would love to know why is the way he is.

Among those who don't quite understand Bakugo'a appeal.
I get all this "he's loud, flawed, jerk, villain-ish, etc. -but- actually always stick to his hero ideals" premise of his character, but to me it's still not interesting enough. If it's a different take on the usual rival-gone-bad/opposite-side trope, it doesn't always mean it's a better take, which is the case for me. |
