I was utterly shocked when I saw a friend put up some tribute art this morning. And her death happened almost a month after Rafiki's voice actor passed away.
Besides Bulma, I knew Tsuru as the voice of Lilia from Ys I, II, and IV. My condolences to her friends, family, and fellow Dragon Ball cast members.

I may have not experience to see and hear her works but I know she's a great voice actress. May you rest in peace.

According with Toru Furuya's twitter account, he speaked with her in the net a few moments previous to her death, and it was very painful for him for many obvious reasons.
May she can rest in peace...

What a horrible way to die. She must have been so scared and the poor woman died alone in her car. Amazing she even had the strength to pull over. I hate to think how she was feeling in her last moments. Even if she wasn’t a well known actress, just knowing someone died this way is hard to swallow.

In any case, I should point out (if someone already hasn't) that Masako Nozawa (Goku) has outlived one of her co-stars. |
Masako Nozawa has outlived a lot of her Dragon Ball costars already.

I was really shocked reading the news of her passing away this morning. I fell in love with Hiromi Tsuru's lovely voice the first time I heard her as Madoka Ayukawa. Her voice was so unique and sexy, strong yet fragile at the same time, and her performance as Madoka was so much better than the one from a French dub I knew until back then.
May she rest in peace.

And Ukyou as well--Hopefully, Ghost Sweeper Mikami is enjoying a tasty okonomiyaki, after being sent to the other side.

Oh wow... that's so sad! I couldn't even imagine the pain and fear she might have had in her final moments. RIP Tsuru-san, you will truly be missed by many, and I send my thoughts to your family that are even more floored than us fans are. T.T

Second Silent Mobius seiyuu to die. In either case, this is saddening. The deaths in anime, in music... overall this year, much like the last one has been dreadful.
My condolences to friends, family and fans. May she Rest In Peace.

That's awful. Way too young to go. May she rest in peace, and her family and friends find solace.

This all still feels surreal to me. When I heard the news, my heart was shattered into a million pieces. Such an irreplaceable loss to the anime industry and the world in general. She was so talented and voiced some very iconic characters. I will truely miss her unique voice. Condolences to her family, friends, co-workers, and all her fans. Thank you very much for your hard work and rest in peace. m(_ _)m
