The Michiaki Watanabe that wrote Violinist of Hameln is NOT in his 80s. I don't know his age off hand, but I have the manga, and there's photos of him on the inside dustjacket of all 37 volumes, and for a series started in the early 90s, there's no way that this bio page is talking about the same person. I think two people with the same name had their info overlapped. I can only vouch for the manga side, I know nothing of all those music credits. Yay, I found links.
