If it's backlit, I'm in. Plus, I've already had some of my old cartridges die on me.

Had the GB back in the day. I enjoyed it but I never liked the B&W screen.I might get it if it is released. Looking forward to GBA mini

Every Gameboy only ever took two batteries(this includes the Advance). I think you're confusing it for the Sega Game Gear, which still only needed six(per day).

The original Gameboy required 4 AA batteries. Subsequent models required less or AAA batteries instead (in the case of the Pocket).

Never hopped onto the whole NES/SNES Classic fad because I could easily emulate just about any game from those consoles on PC. This definitely has me intrigued though since I don't have any handhelds at the moment and I can use physical buttons unlike a mobile emulator. Depending on the price I may buy one.

ah the gameboy, when mobile gaming was still short enough to enjoy on the fly, before the deluge of text messaging was added in.
