Wow. My grandfather died in April of the exact same cause at the exact same age. Regardless, Rest In Peace, and condolences to his family.

Curiously, he also reprised Rafiki in the dub of The Lion Guard, now they had to find a replacement for him.

Another veteran goes away. Still, 89 is a good long life and I enjoyed his roles as Grand Kai from DBZ, Taigokuji from Inuyasha, The Frog Hermit from Ranma 1/2, and Ichigaki from Yu Yu Hakusho. Rest in peace, Saikachi-san. Wishing the best to all your loved ones.
