Japan U-20 Team Roster Officially Revealed in 'Blue Lock 2nd Season' Along with New Voice Cast

Culver City, CA (November 2, 2024) – Today, Kodansha officially revealed the roster for the Japan U-20 Team in BLUE LOCK 2nd Season. Covering the acclaimed “BLUE LOCK vs. Japan's U-20” arc, BLUE LOCK's adversaries will make their debut today in Episode 29, airing 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET, while the official match airs next Saturday, November 9 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET.

Going heel-to-toe against BLUE LOCK XI is the newly revealed Japan U-20 National Team, which includes Oliver Aiku, Ryusei Shidou and Sae Itoshi, who is the brother of Blue Lock XI's Rin Itoshi.

BLUE LOCK 2nd Season is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with episodes simulcast every Saturday at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET. The first season of the series and BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI- are also now available to stream.

About BLUE LOCK

After making it this far, 35 players stand, but now the Blue Lock program itself faces elimination from Japan's very own U-20 National Team. Vicious rivals will have to team up to defeat the national youth team if any of them want a shot at the striker position. Can they put aside their egos long enough to win together, or will they lose divided?


BLUE LOCK is based on the on-going manga series by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, published under Kodansha, which currently consists of 30 volumes and over 40 million copies in publication. The BLUE LOCK anime series is produced by Studio 8-Bit. BLUE LOCK 2nd Season is directed by Yūji Haibara (The Slime Diaries), with character designs by Kenji Tanabe and music by Jun Murayama.
