Not going to lie, I like that key visual so far.

Could be a hit or a miss as an original TV show. I'm hoping for the best.

C'mon, that synopsis is totally screaming that it ripoffed Granblue Fantasy. Square Enix, are you seriously go with that tactics?

I dunno.

As a long time fan of their work, I kinda expected more from them. This doesn't exactly arouse any emotional response. Not yet, anyway.

A minor correction: "I want to give half my life to her" should be "I want to give half of (my) fate to her".

I hope this doesn't end up becoming a case of "less than the sum of its parts". Trailers for new JRPGs end up following this routine too much. They tease character designs, cryptic plots, the world's locales, show off some gameplay here and there, then the final product ends up being less than what was anticipated.

So does the artwork. I actually thought that MC in the thumbnail was Gran until I actually read the article.

Yeah, both the art and set up for the two leads really follow Granblue Fantasy.

Still good art, so I'm interested to see how the anime for this turns out.
