i don't know if I should be excited or super cautious. Shadow of the Colossus is one those games that is pretty much timeless and is always enjoyable.

Wasn't there already a remaster? Why would they do another remaster? Bizarre.

It's not a remaster, it's a full remake.

Here's what I want:
Massively multiplayer but extremely sparse density so you might only run into someone else once an hour or two.
Build your own collosi for other players to discover and fell.
Some kind of mysterious meta story that is slowly revealed to the players over many months and eventually has them work individually toward some collective goal.
Just building and testing your own collosus would be super awesome.

I really hope they don't replace the soundtrack. It's one of my all-time favorites.

Might re-record it at higher fidelity, but there's no way they would replace the music.

As someone who only bought the PS2 version and totally skipped the PS3 entirely, this is my jam. Beyond thrilled that it's a complete remake too, rather than a retextured remaster.

One of the best games ever. Why not a sequel though? Is it just going to be what I've already played before, but in updated graphics? I wouldn't mind that, but it would need to be a big difference if I'm to be interested.

Between the way the original game ended and the development hell that the Last Guardian went through?
Why bother.

If it's rly a remake, dont look very good for a ps4 game.

The original holds near perfectly visually, so I'm kind scratching my head at this remake. There's far more potential for it to screw things up than there is for it to improve.

I wish they'd extend it adding more Colossus since they originally planned much more than 16. Although if that was the case they'd probably show new content in the trailer. I'm still excited, one of my favorites.

The original game was a standalone piece of art in its own way, particularly because of its solitary and somber story.
Your suggestion focuses so much on the gameplay mechanics that it seems to miss what made the original game so special in the first place.
