Pretty cool! The franchise is performing well in Japan, so the increased episode count for season 2 was warranted.

At least that will make up for the fact that AoT2 only has 12 episodes, thanks goodness I won't be bored in the summer xD

AoT2 probably will be 2 cours like what they did with Seraph. I bet 2nd cour will be like fall or winter.

I haven't read the manga yet so im just guessing as to the reason why there are only going to be 12 episodes is because of this stupid agreement they have with the manga creator where the anime wont ever be any closer than three arcs to the manga (at least until the manga is finished)
