I always thought Glory of the Defeated was a better title, but I'm just glad this is finally getting localized. I doubt it'll have an amazing hard covered print like the origin did, but eh, Gundam Wing Manga alone already has me sold.

I recall the Helvetica Standard animations to be mostly nonsense from the Nichijou anime. Not sure seeing the original manga source material would help anything.

Doesn't Glory of Losers also adapt it?

No, It clearly prequels Frozen Teardrop though, adding some things that only exist as call-forwards to it.

Helvetica Standard was an actual manga? I thought it was just a joke from Nichijou.

To clarify, Frozen Teardrop, while primarily a sequel (*coughbadfanfictioncough*), does also provide a vastly expanded backstory for Treize. That backstory is incorporated into GotD, which itself is a rewrite of the entire Wing and Endless Waltz story (including Episode Zero), closer to the originally intended story, rather than what the anime ended up being.

Exactly. Despite the hilarious slow motion train-wreck that is Frozen Teardrop's story, GOTL is a shockingly competent manga that's better than the original in most respects, much like The Origin(ok, not as good as The Origin though). I still want all the FT mecha revealed though so we can at least get some damn models out of that mess.
