There are no good or bad people. Just good or bad Gunpla.

The article has the incorrect year for Char's Counterattack's release. The film was released in 1988, not 1998 as the article states.

I'll agree and disagree. I felt him leading the neo zeon was logical after his Dakar speech in Zeta and from that time and events of ZZ nothing changed for the better. The whole dropping axis part though was really out of character imo.

Yeah, seeing your point. What kinda bugged me was how he Amuro become close buddies in Zeta to the point they share sake (even Gundam Sousei parodied it) wheareas in CCA Char now wants revenge for Lalah (who died almost a decade ago). About the Axis, I heard they rewrote the storyline for one of those Super Robot Wars games.
I felt Fullfrontal was more fitting for Char's supposed mature self even though I'm still confused about his objective since the Pandora's Box confused me a lot.

You say ignorant things to Char, you get yelled at by Char. That's fair.

Awww! Too bad for Kouichi. He's one of my favorite seiyuus. But at least they made up in the in end. I wonder what characters he's voicing or even dubbing now.

Quote: | Yamadera[Bodyguard & Char Fanboy] seems to have learned his lesson, and he saved the camaraderie between the two voice actors. Yamadera asked Ikeda [Char's seiyuu] out for drinks, and that smoothed over the situation. |
So this is now a cannon shipping? Spectacular.

Well then, aren't we salty? O.o Ikeda must be a method actor...
I found Char's Counterattack underwhelming. As a matter of fact, the original Gundam "canon" is probably best left off at the end of original series, which I thought was fine and wonderful and required no elaboration.

IIRC, the whole Axis affair was just Char's pretext for a final duel with Amuro.
Years after Zeta, he became unsure with things. So he decided to screw everything rather than allow the same tragedies caused by Federation officials to happen again.
(I agree. The ending of the original series gave a lot of closure.)

Beerus in Dragon Ball. Corazon in One Piece not long ago. He voices a character in every single Pokémon movie (hell, he is Mew, Lugia, the Shiny Genesect and Unbound Hoopa), but in the main series he only voiced two characters: a Farfetch'd and Louie, the latter originally appeared in the Mega Evolution specials, but appeared in the main series as well.
If they are new Kingdom Heart projects, he probably would still play Donald Duck.

It's not like he was lying considering he got Garma killed and then try to kill the earth.

Throwing giant rocks at the planet so that people will be forced to live in space is not exactly the M.O. of a "good guy", but I guess compared to gassing and lasering colonies like Titans and wanting a fascistic regime where only the strong survive like Haman and/or Glemmy Toto (not to mention the Zabis), he's at least well-meaning. Maybe.
I like the ambiguity of CCA. Given the events of Z and ZZ, it seems like Char wanted to be patient and wait for mankind to move away from Earth, but with them continuing to make the same mistakes, and given his enormous ego, he just couldn't help but want to push things along himself. But you could just as easily argue that it was all just to battle Amuro one last time. He certainly went out of his way to have the Psycoframe data leaked to Londo Bell.

It's a good thing he didn't say that to the guy who voice acted Brighto-San or he might have gotten slapped.
