I wasn't expecting Valkyrie Drive to get a dub, so this is definitely surprising.

Some are actually aliases. You can tell they are aliases when the name only appears in the fan service-heavy shows or maybe a really dark and violent show.

The anime maybe be fairly shallow if at least well done fan-service, but the game on Vita has surprisingly deep mechanics and is very well written.

between the two the game is definitely much better but I like the anime still. too bad it wasn't on a more popular system.

There was a spinoff of Aria? I remember hearing about it but never saw it.
Funimation streamed it? Makes sense but it's not there. Aria's there but...
Wait, people dumb enough to dub these shows over Nichijou... Yup, they treated Aria AA as a direct sequel and stuck it at the end of the first series.

Would they have gotten the clue if it was called Aria the Scarlet Ammo Not?

Will I watch them? I don't know anymore as Funni's hit a losing streak with me recently. Or I really hate their player as such "I'm paying for this but do I really want suffer the buffer and rougher the tougher?" I mean tougher the roughage as they still haven't solved the "goes to green" part of the playing experience. Or maybe I mean trying to skip the opening and waiting for the entire episode to reload every time. Or maybe how bad their autoplay is.

Why do I give these guys money again?

I think someone at FUNi needs an editor watching over their shoulder.

Quote:
After adorable “mermaid” Mamori is transferred to one of five artificial islands, she's cornered, attacked and eventually saved by another beautiful transfer named Mirei.

I had to reread this like three times before I figured out they meant "she's cornered and attacked, and ends up being saved by Mirei," not "Mirei corners, attacks, and eventually saves her." Normally I would also expound on the virtues of the Oxford comma, but that wouldn't help the ambiguous phrasing. (Killing the passive voice, on the other hand...)

I personally don't think Nichijou would be as funny if it were dubbed, more than a few of the jokes only work because of the Japanese language, Keeping it subbed is fine.

As for the main article, I enjoyed Valkyrie Drive for what it was...still surprised they went and dubbed it though. Can't wait to play "whose pseudonym is it anyway?" when the show comes out.

new year fresh dub anime

aria AA - well give sorta spinoff continue series sure get same cast return with new characters for AA spinoff sure give i refer to this series compare

aria as oliver queen
akari as barry allen

yea this what i get for watching arrow-verse series yet as for AA give how it goes.

on the other valkyrie mermaid series oh look they fresh names dub voices on it yet give series doing "oh yea we know funi's history of it".

give too early to tell yet cast list yet we're still waiting full batch of voices.

overall with return mixing new era of voice dub give 2017 funi batch just on right foot in to watch their dub.

well, that's Morgan Garrett as Mirei, so that's a good choice. I'd kinda like to know who the director and script writer are, so we can get an idea of what to expect

Actually, knowing Funimation's track record, they probably would've been able to make the jokes even funnier. I think it's just too costly for them to dub shows that are 5-6 years old, hence why there's tragically no dub.
