So is "pen-pineapple-apple-pen" a tongue-twister for the Japanese or something?

I wish I could make an animated gif of glitter, rainbows, and huge chrome letters that spell out "JAPAN" as usually I find this a normality.
...I mean,... Happaitai's Yatta! (never forget).
....their game shows
...vending machines with women's underwear and just about anything else...
Yeah.... Glitter, rainbows and sparkles. "JAPAN".
I love it. <3
But really, just admit it... It's great Advertising.

"I have a pen" and "I have an apple" is the most popular sentence used as example when learning English for Japanese people. As for pineapple, I don't know, maybe because it sounds close to "pine and apple".

Ah, that explains a lot. My first thought about this song is that it sounds like something I'd hear on Sesame Street. If spoken fluently, at least.

Just when I thought that Japan couldn't get any weirder, they manage to prove me wrong. That was one of the weirdest music videos I've ever seen and trust me on this. I've lived through the 1980's. They did some pretty bizarre videos in that time as well. I don't know how they'd feel about Gonzo the Great in Japan but I think he'd fit in rather well there,if that video was anything to go by.
