Ah, serendipitous discovery. I remember attempting to peek over my classmates' shoulders when they're reading Saint Seiya, and catching the episodes sporadically on TV. This will save another question in the indefinite future, probably. Thanks for that title, but I don't think Saint Seiya is the show I'm looking for. Quite a few of the characters don't match the show, and the armors seem less...covering than what I remember.

Wow, that was fast. The moment I read Boomerang Flash saying it was NOT Saint Seiya, I immediately thought "hey what's the name of that so-called Saint Seiya ripoff... grrrr tenkado-shujin beats me." |

Has anyone seen Welcome to the N.H.K.? Looks pritty good, almost FLCL like. Does anyone have an oppinion on it and is it worth watching?

Im looking for the name of an old cartoon. It was a boy who had powers when he got angry and a dragon shaped figure in his head shined.
Any idea? It looked like japanese cartoon, predecesor or contemporary to dragon ball |

I'd been searching for an anime for a long time, but still cannot find its name.
I remembered it must be OAV but TV, released in 1980s, however, I don't know the exactly time. It's about a story with a narwhal in it. There are 2 cities, one is laying at the foot of a mountain and the other is at the top of the moutain. Though they used to have the same ancestors, they don't know each other's exist.(seemed a catastroph had seprated them) The city on the top has developed a very high technology and they have an amour with wings which can make them fly. But it was very hard for them to bring up children(maybe for the bad weather of the high mountain). The daughter of the high city's lead named "Shinran"(sounds like this but I'm not sure what spelling it should be= =), a pretty blonde. One day she met a brown hair boy of the down city and makes friend with him. But seems some accident happened and both of the girl and the boy had fallen into the ocean. A huge narwhal saved them and keep them in its mouth.(the narwhal's name maybe "waterble") The people in the 2 cities find the 2 kids missed and thinkt it must be the other's kidnap and a war seems to happen. At last an old man in the down city takes out a horn of a whale and they all go down to a big gate under the earth. There is a figure of the narwhal beside the gate and the old man insert the horn to the hole of the figure and the gate opens, the narwhal appears and opens its mouth, both the kids are there and the people of the 2 cities become very good friends. Who can help me to find the name of the OAV, it would be very thankful to~~~ |

Hi. Im looking for this series I saw, when I was a kid, but I cant remember the name of it. It is about these to men and a princess who are travelling in space. The two guys have these mask and body suits one is red and white, the other is a fat one, an as I racall his was orange and green. The princess has a special power to control one of the guys, so she can give him a headache.
Can someone please help me

Hey guys, I remember watching an anime movie when i was a little boy. If i remember correctly it was about this little boy and his little dog (maybe white)..and by the end of the film they both succumb to the harsh winter and die... I know it's not much of a description but i really wanted to find out the name of the film, it's just hella sad
 . I know it sounds lame but I distinctly remember it as the first time i actually cried to a film!
btw, if someone already mentioned it earlier im sorry but sifting through 125 pages for 1 topic just takes too long! |
