YES! I've been waiting for this announcement for the longest. We're almost there. Just do the right thing and correct the mistakes of the past.

Here's a tip: Have realistic expectations.
Especially since the show already reached its originally intended ending. That said, I think it's unlikely they'll do something as boring as just improve on R2. If they do make a remake or retelling, it probably won't follow any previous framework. Rather, it'll tell a very different story from the beginning with many changes. Like the Macross Frontier films. |

At long last there is something to look forward to. Having Lelouch on the picture and his name in the website for the 10th anniversary is a good sign he will be involved in some way. I am personally hoping for those Code Geass remake movies announced a few years ago.

Small correction: they certainly announced there would be "a movie" but nothing about any remake was mentioned back then. |
