"Krito will return"

...he left? If he did, why does he need to come back? Story's at it's best when it isn't focusing excessively on him.

That would be great Laughing . I will hope that Alicization Arc of Sword Art Online gets TV anime after the film release or 20th Volume of the light novel.

Considering how insanely long it was, I honestly thought this would be the final arc....

It was the last arc of the webnovel, tho the ending of it was left open, with some foreshadowing of future event. Reki's continuing the story due to it's popularity and because he has more ideas (hard not to after having almost a decade to think about it...)

most people wanted it to end after mother's rosario and i cant blame them either. however those same people wanted the series to end after fairy dance. especially if the author had pulled an oreimo on that arcand have kirito paired with his sister/cousin suguha as his new love interest. i of course wouldnt have minded but that though is what killed it for others. and the phantom bullet & excalibur arc didn't make things better since it more or less made kirito into an uber gary stu character and have him more or less as a psuedo male harem lead character ala touma kamajo (even though he have asuna as a gf).

so i really couldn't blame some fans wanted the series to end with mother's rosario. hopefully this new arc wont have the same issuses that plagued phantom bullet and more importantly, let there be no more new female characters falling for kirito again. otherwise the series really would fall under the harem category. i mean he's not the only male character in that group after all.

Guess Kirito haters won't be happy until Kirito's human body is killed off, and he becomes a Deified intelligence online.

Its a little surprising. Having read the WN i think the Alicization Arc was the last arc because it was the climax of the story that begun on volume 1.
All the issues and villains of SAO spoiler[were resolved] by the end of Alicization even withspoiler[ the open end] in the last Alicization chapter.

Still is good to have new story and I'm curious to see what direction the author will take Kirito story.

The one subject im must curious about spoiler[is the relationship with Alice because after his GF Asuna she is the closest heroine to Kirito. Will she continue to be allot more close to Kirito than the other Asuna rivals?]

I've never understood the hate for SAO. It just seems like such an average anime. And as far as average anime goes it does have effort put into it.

I just think it's a very enjoyable show. But some people say it's life-changingly awful, and all I can say to this is: ...okaaay Confused
