I was wondering if anyone else had this problem- I bought Haruhi disc 1 awhile ago and it was loose. It played perfectly fine- but today I bought 2 & 3. 3 was loose as well.

I get these from Best Buy- and i'm wondering who i can return it to if need be...(disc 3 looks a little banged up)
Do I return it to the retailer or the company?

Anyone else had simliar problems?

On a semi related note I picked up Yu YU Hakusho two disc dvd pack- and one of those discs was loose as well. (bought this from FYE...but it was discounted to $8)
The safety stickers on the outside of the box ripped up the plastic covering when I was trying to take all four pieces off. (like...on the actual dvd case not the in sotre plastic)

I just seem to be unlucky with dvds this week Sad

For disk three you'd just go back to Best Buy's customer service desk with your receipt and the item and tell them the disk was loose and scratched, and ask for a replacement. You might even want to swing by the anime section beforehand to pick up a replacement copy of the DVD so the person at the customer service desk doesn't have to go looking for it.

I found a loose disc in my recently purchased Rurouni Kenshin Season 2 economy box set. The last disc wasn't in place and is scratched as well (it did play however so it's not a real concern). I do prefer the first season packaging (double disc trays) for this reason.

One time I had a few loose FMA disc's when they arrived. They weren't scratched and played fine so I didn't really think twice about it. Laughing

Sometimes I find disk where basically the plastic seems to be limply holding onto the disk, waiting for me to close the case so it can faint.

I hate the feeling of opening up a case to find the contents have gone case surfing. However I've yet to find any scratched (at least badly)

Even more annoying are the ones that you can't get out without snapping the disk in half through frustration Confused

I had the same problem with Season 3. The first disk was loose and the jacket was torn which was why the disk came loose. I requested for an exchange and DVD Box Office did just that. Smile
