Wow! I was just thinking about this series a few days ago. Mostly about the anime getting a redistribution. But it's surprising that they want to republish the full manga. I remember CPM had this title at the time, but I don't think they finished it releasing it. Now if this happens I definitely want to pick this up for our collection. I've been wanting to request this for years but there wasn't enough vols out and it had already been in circulation for a few years. So any copies you'd find would be all over the place. Hope this Kickstarter does well. I also hope that La Blue Girl gets funded as well.
Chances are if we get them students here will be too scared to check them out. |

The blurb/last paragraph at the end is a bit incorrect.
Fakku published Okama's Hanafuda erotic manga in February. The company entered a partnership with Wanimagazine last year and published Renai Sample by Homunculus, PuniKano by Pyon-Kti, Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments by Gunma Kisaragi, Alluring Woman by Cuvie, and Peachy-Butt Girls (The Pretty Peach Hip) by Bosshi. This was true last Spring. This past Spring we have since published over 20 books, with Hanafuda being published in April 2015. In addition we also publish three of Wani's magazines, monthly. And I hope to see this funded. We're all really excited about working with Maeda and i can't wait to get Urotsukidoji and La Blue Girl on my bookshelf. More tiers will be added soon. La Blue Girl was the one with Lolicon, Real Lolicon, in it, can they legally release that?
It is funny that the guy who draws Hentai looks and dressers like a respectable business man. |

Drawing comics in Japan is a respectable job. Just because you do erotic comics, especially very successful ones, doesn't make you are any less respectable or professional. Check out the ANN interview to learn more about him. He's also been featured in an HBO documentary. As to you Lolicon comment with La Blue girl, I don't remember any lolis but if it did we have no issue with drawings of fictional characters in sexual acts. Huh, if I had known about this sooner, I would have put money aside to drop on the KS. Hopefully I can contribute before it actually ends. (Unless it just finished, lol.)
Either way, I'll support the series properly and am eager for its full, English release. ^u^ I've been wanting to finish reading it for a long time~. |

Toshio Maeda is the most chill dude ever. Four years ago, he came to Puerto Rico for ComiCon, and the poor guy was shuttered all the way to the back of the event with a tiny table loaded with masters of his old comics for sale. He was super-approachable, constantly apologizing for his accent, and a seriously nice guy to hang around. He was even inviting people to go drinking after the convention. If I had cash in any capacity, I'd put it towards this crowdfunding. Ignoring the naughty tentacles, Urotskidoki is something of a landmark moment in anime history--for better or worse. It's amazing that Fakku, in such a short amount of time, is not only making a deal like this, but doing so with such a historically relevant series. spoiler[And, y'know, respecting that not everyone will be into this thing and not insulting them for it. That's a big deal.] |

It depends on which country Fakku is based out of. If it's the US, then it's okay, but differing state laws may cause issues for some citizens. |

Yeah, I love hanging out with Maeda. He'll be going to SacAnime in September. Totes recommend going to his panels. I always have a good laugh there.
Although most of my fun money is tied up with the Kodomo no Jikan Kickstarter, I contributed to this too. |

I laughed at this comment. Even porn stars have the right to look and dress properly you know |

Just like the KOR Kickstarter, I really want to put down for this, but I can't bring myself to do it unless I know I can get the entire series instead of just the first volume or two. I hope this works out well for Fakku, and I hope they continue to do well enough to be able to keep putting high-quality work.

Isn't 40$+shipping for 1 Vol. really expensive? It's keeping me from backing it

^ I thought Bourdain was an arse to Maeda. I remember that a couple people mentioned that to Maeda at one of his panels and Maeda was like "I don't give an eff."
Great man. |

I may pass on this one and save up to go all out once the La Blue Girl campaign is live on kickstarter.
Technically, Miko is clearly mentionned as being 16-years old in the Japanese version of both the manga and the anime. The dichotomy between cute, perky Miko and hard tentacle H stuff is one of the major point behind the conception of the series. |
