Damn, 69 pages of a storyboard, that's a lot. And like Togashi said in the interview, "About the manuscript, though - this is drawn in a lot of detail. It’s not like an under drawing or a rough."(not my translation), there's a lot of detail in the art just for a storyboard, which is good at least. Ishida himself said he usually doesn't draw that much for something like this, but he wanted to do it for this.

Togashi has always loved Hisoka so I'm pretty thankful for this storyboard as I too, love Hisoka

Ishida shouldn't have wasted his precious time writing the script for a lazy ass author.

Dying to read it along with Togashi/Ishida talk.

Ishida admires and owes Togashi most of his inspiration for his work, he was his assisstant. If you read the Chimera Ant arc and any Mission arc of Tokyo Ghoul, especially in :re, the resemblance is pretty obvious, although I prefer Togashi's execution. Also, Tsukiyama began as an even more disturbing Hisoka.

Every time you comment something I have to disagree with you. We really are complete opposites aren't we...

That sounds really cool. I hope Viz runs it in Shonen Jump.

Instead of making the work others should improve its manga.

Someone already translated their interview. It's really interesting to see the thought process of both authors.

Don't mind me I was just baiting the guy above my initial post. Also no Ishida wasn't actually Togashi's assistant. According to the interview, he was still in Junior High when Togashi was working on HxH.

He was in Junior High around Heaven's Arena arc. Most manga assistants start in high-school as an informal work. Plus, Hunter x Hunter has been running for 15+ years, as far as I know, Ishida was an assistant in the middle to later arcs. Doesn't change much the influence and admiration he has for Togashi, anyway.
Thanks for the link, in any case.

Next news... Ishida to take over HxH series due to Togashi choosing his passion for Dragon Quest.

Actually, a new volume came out in Japan this week, and it's still running in Jump, so I suppose fans can cross their fingers....

Ishida wasn't Togashi's assistant. I think it comes from some badly translated tweet without a context. The one in wich Ishida said he took inspiration from Togashi, but it was translated as if Togashi personally taught him something.
Also, Togashi doesn't use assistants (or there would be much less problems with overwork, back pains, and sketchy drawings when he is at his limit). AFAIK, only his wife helps him sometimes.
