I was disappointed to not see Minami for the new Prism Ilya, it's really good news to see she's being able to fully get back into work after a few months back in public. Maybe she can still make it to Anisama too.

Last year she announced she had a previously-undisclosed child, which apparently is apparently a bad thing for pop singers in Japan, even those in their 30s. She said at the time "I expect that, because of this announcement, there will be a need to start from zero." So, it's nice to see her doing OP/EDs again. She's built up a pretty big body of popular anime songs over the years… would be cool if a N. American con brought her over here someday. After all, it looks like she's taking part in a big "Anison Dream Stage 2016" thing in Hong Kong in July. |
