Honestly, this does sound like a series that, if it does well in Japan, would end up getting licensed in the west. |

So.... how special this artist or manga is? their are new series coming out every 2-3 months on Shonen Jump. But suddenly ANW make a news about this manga and not other before?

In ANN's last annual survey, one of the questions was something like "what kind of things would you like to see more coverage of?" and one of the possible answers was "new manga series". I would guess (or at least hope  ) that a lot of people ticked that box and this is ANN responding to that.

^Possibly. But, I thought that it might've been something they'd cover due to the series being on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Series making their debut pretty much always get the cover in WSJ.
ANN has been reporting some of the WSJ batches recently, though it is noticably inconsistent. It's probably a 'whenever they actually notice or remember to' thing. |

Could be the case, as I was just making an assumption. Though, now seeing another article related to this series, where it's stated that that Viz are going to put this series' first chapter up digitally...may explain why it's Japanese debut got coverage.
