Jesus, that looks amazing. Great to finally see CG done right. They should just adapt the whole manga like this. Gantz was made for 3DCG.

Not bad. The CG looks like Aramaki's Harlock: Space Pirate movie. This movie at least should be more entertaining. Whether it will have a good story of course depends on what they do with the material. Didn't think I'd want more Gantz but I'm looking forward to this.

Oh man. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm excited for Gantz all over again! The Osaka arc is to me one of the highest points of the manga (along with the Oni arc), and the CG actually looks good; it seems to be on a pretty big budget, the type that allowed the Space Captain Harlock CG movie to exist.

If you are referring to Japanese CG in anime then you are correct to assume so. However, Advent Children was way ahead of it's time when it came out and it was Japanese made. So, it's kinda hard to assess if Japan can do CG right, when there is so many examples of bad but a few of super good. |

This looks straight out amazing for what it is. I never had a problem with anime filler ending (let´s overlook the anime´s broken pacing) but any pretense of continuity is now a lost cause anyway. Let´s see what they will do with the R-18 worthy content though. Some of it was gratuitous bullshit, yet a toothless Gantz is no Gantz at all.
