In case you weren't paying attention to Hellsing whatsoever, Alucard's pretty much immortal, dude. This little "what if" fight's so slanted it's pathetic. If you're going to do this, put a bit more thought into it.
Buuuuuuuut, if you're going to do it, don't do it here. It's stupid, and a waste of forumspace.

I think Daffy would win with Donald. I mean - Donald is the man of the sea but Daffy has his crazy moments and would kick Donalds ass...... oh And Alucard would win with Vash.... (see Nagisas` post) |

I am sorry for posting it, I just wanted to know who is considered the favourite character by the members here. I am sorry if I wasted your time, I didn't mean any offense.
Btw, it was only a general question, and I think your little flame-inspired reply is a much bigger waste of forum space. Then again, that's just my opinion and I was under the impression that anyone could post anything concerning anime. |

Maybe you could have done something like, "hey guys, just watched Trigun and Hellsing! What do you guys think about them?" and then like a post script say something like "So who do you guys think would win, Vash or Alucard?"

I would hope most people on these boards would agree with Nagisa, I know I do. To quote Teh Rules:
3) Threads and topics should carry some measure of intelligence to them. Consider if what you are writing is relevant or important to others. If it does not contribute to the discussion, do not post it. This type of thread has been done in the past and locked rather quickly. It doesn't add at all to the quality of this board, much like some other recent topics, and going by rule #3 doesn't belong here. If you wish to do a thread like this, go to Cartoon Network's boards, if you wish to start a thread that could spark some actual intellectual discussion rather than a thread meant to do nothing more than produce one-liners about who's cooler, feel free to post it here. I'd like to say that what Nagisa posted wasn't meant as a flame, but since I'm not Nagisa I can't be sure. What I can say though is that yes you can post anything about anime here, as long as it falls within the confines of Teh Rules, a nice little document I suggest you re-read and consider everytime you post. Now personally, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just explaining why Nagisa reacted the way they did and why many others would react in the same way. |

For the record, no, that was not meant as a flame, and I apologize if it was misconstrued as such. My reaction is merely the result of what seems to be a sudden rash of this sort of thread occurring, and I'm getting less & less patient with it the more it happens (I like this place because it's one of the few forums that doesn't habitually lower itself to that level, you see, and yet there are members that seem hell-bent on making it so).
