All the fanart I've seen for his passing has been overwhelming. I haven't been able to go a day since without tearing up. It's crazy, even to me, to think how much this man did for so many people with just a few songs made for a kid's TV show...

I still think about it and my eyes tear up. I listened to Butter-Fly the entire weekend.

^ I did that as well and right now as I type. I still can't believe it.

I ignored Twitter (everywhere for that matter). I was so upset...
Can I even watch Tri now when I have the time? |

When Digimon was airing in China back when I was in elementary school, everybody in my class wanted me to sing Bufferfly in Japanese since I knew a little Japanese at that time. That show was absolutely phenomenal among children at that time, and I will never forget it.

It's nice to see such condolences. May he rest in peace.

I've been having to hold back tears at Ikeda's message. Knowing how much of a fanboy Ikeda is, and having already seen him living out his childhood dream, I can imagine how heavy his heart was when he wrote that, saying that he was a Digimon fan, and that Wada had had such an influence on him.

I've been listening to both the original and Tri. versions of Butter-Fly and I'm awed with the powerful aura emanating from them. It's totally depressing that Kouji Wada had to depart from this world so early...

Don't forget the message from fellow Digimon singer-songwriter Miyazaki Ayumi!

I find that the Naruto OST "The Guts To Never Give Up" is such an appropriate memorial song for this. This is probably the saddest Naruto OST I have heard and it playing when spoiler[Jiraiya died (David "Puppetmon" Lodge was awesome as him) was appropriate since I find Pervy Sage's death the saddest of all Naruto deaths].

This is how you know what an impact a person has on the world. Such a sad thing to hear about this, again RIP Koji.

As you can probably surmise from the Twitter username, that's a fan account. It's not actually Maeda posting. |

Oh man, my sincere apologies... I honestly thought that was her account upon first glance... |
