I'm a big fan of Neptune games, so I'm glad it's coming to the west, but my wallet cries in agony.
And Emi Nitta is in this too? Nice. |

Sweet as popular as Neptune is in the west I sure as hell wasn't expecting this game to get a western release let alone an English dub.

Master System appears as a chirper. The reason why she's not a playable character is obvious. There is no Neptunia counterpart for the Master System. While Neptune is technically not a counterpart to Saturn, since Neptune (and Nepgear) is based on a fictitious console, but since her name is inspired by the unreleased Sega Neptune that was cancelled in favor of Saturn, it kind of works. Game Gear only managed to get a role because her counterpart is Nepgear, despite Nepgear is not based on the Game Gear, only her name is merely inspired by it. Otherwise, if it wasn't for Nepgear, who also was the protagonist in mk2 and Re;Birth2, Game Gear would never be a playable character in this game. This is a game where each goddess and their SeHa counterpart only live in certain eras.
The first era is with Pururut and Mega Drive. The second era is with Neptune and Saturn. The third era is with Nepgear and Game Gear, and the latest era is with Uzume and Dreamcast. The CPUs don't really know each other, even the Nep sisters. And the SeHa girls don't know each other, too. It's a completely new story and continuity. I've never gotten into Neptune, but I loved the Sega Girls, and I'm honestly surprised it'll get a dub since the anime wasn't released. Hope they sound good, especially Dreamcast 3
