I mentioned this in the thread for the new site, but I will sy it again here. It would be very helpful if the stock status for the items was shown in my product lists. Then I could just select the items that are in stock and add them all to my cart. With a tabbed browser it is not too difficult to open each item in a tab and check the status, but with a lot of items that can get rather tedious. |

While it would be difficult to say when any possible changes would be made. I can say we are looking at all the feedback we are getting and taking it in consideration. We definitely appreciate the feedback.

So, I know that when I get free shipping, my orders are often delayed if items are coming out close to each other. But recently (since the partial shipping problems with the new site, really) it's been getting a bit ridiculous.
I currently have 5 books ordered. 3 of them were released 2 weeks ago today (3/22). I know that some have been shipped, because for the past OVER 2 weeks I've been watching Yen Press retweet pictures of Log Horizon 4, Karneval 4, and Pandora Hearts 23. Even before their official release date. One is set to be released 3 weeks from today (4/26). The fifth is set to be released at the end of May (5/24). Previously, the longest delay I would get would be maybe 2 weeks (give or take a few days) after release date, if there were items coming out together. But given that it's already been 2 weeks, and my next book isn't for another 3 weeks... am I going to have to wait over a month to get my books? Log Horizon and Karneval I don't care as much about, since I already know what happens, but I have been waiting 7 years to get to the end of Pandora Hearts (since the anime first started airing), and I want my volume 24! |

Our partial shipping with the new site is set up to partial ship a lot more often than before. However, it is more geared towards those with multiple open orders that have in stock items across them.
For someone with just one open order like yourself, our system would not trigger a partial shipment so to answer your question-- yes, if you keep your order unchanged, you would have to wait until all the items come in before a shipment would be made. I recommend either calling Customer Care to move your in stock items to a separate order (you would have to pay shipping however). Another option you have is to place another order with items that are all in stock, and then when that order ships it will trigger your other in stock items to ship as well. I hope that makes sense and is helpful. |

That is good to know. It might not be as convenient for me as the previous partial shipping policy, but I do not have any complaints about it. As long as I know what your policy is I can work with it. Thank you for the information. |

So basically, because my order was all pre-orders, I have to wait 2 months to get my books, that I could easily go to the bookstore and buy right now?
Honestly, this is unacceptable, especially since these changes were never informed to us after the change in website (as I said, I've never had more than a 2-ish week delay on releases, INCLUDING ones with multiple pre-ordered books with multiple release dates. BN.com regularly runs manga sales. I will likely be discontinuing my got anime membership and finding my manga and anime elsewhere from now on. |
