I wouldn't mind an edible version being released, then again if I ate that, I'd have to be covered in floatation devices and wear a high quality life jacket when on the beach.

Yeah, it's odd that this was third in line rather than first, considering not only is it the first Devil Fruit shown in the series as an actual object rather than a visual guide, it's the Devil Fruit consumed by the protagonist on the first chapter and first episode.

Also, it tastes like poop, at least according to Fukurou (who hasn't actually eaten a Devil Fruit).
