That was pretty awesome!!
....except for the voice acting. That kinda sucked.
I'd love to see more of this, but only on the condition that they hire a better voice studio.

Agreed on the voice bits. I think the DJ guy and his friend are fine, but the woman who gets the most lines doesn't sound tough or demanding or "street" at all. ^^;
But the pilot just oozes style, and it's nice seeing a change up from the usual art style we tend to see. Now if I could just stop my brain from trying to puzzle out how sex, both homo and hetero, is supposed to trigger a virus that kills that quickly (how is reproduction done then?), but apparently arousal, kissing, and (I assume) masturbation doesn't. I'm probably thinking too hard about this.

Its VERY pretty and I like the artistic concept and many of the character designs but for a pilot it was kinda bland?
That and the voice acting was horrible, terrible. I heard a lot of bad mock aave and I get they're going for a futuristic setting but the VAs and script just took me out the mood too often. I did like some of the story slang but sounding natural and in-character is important. Idk who'd green light those VAs, there are plenty of amateurs who could sound better than that lol.

The idea and execution are amazing. Just need to work on the script and voice acting.

The voice acting certainly needs improving, but I'm impressed with what I'm seeing so far. Here's hoping the voices are better when the show is done.

The art style, character designs, direction, and animation are all wonderful. This show definitely isn't lacking in terms of style.
However, the plot is kinda... eh. The whole "sex kills" dystopian world seems too nonsensical to me, but I suppose for an 8 minute pilot there's only so much you can say in terms of plot and world building. Either way, I can't say I was too impressed by the pilot beyond just art direction.
And yikes, that voice acting. They really need to improve voice direction and script writing, cause all of what I heard was so stiff and unnatural.

Bad voice acting. If I recall, a lot of the head creative staff (along with the studio), are from Montreal with English as a second language. It could have limited the talent available to them or they couldn't pick up on a good English reading of the dialogue.
There were cool elements in the original character designs that didn't transition over to the pilot that well. They come through in a couple cuts but not too many. The sound design and mix could have been a lot better too, given how music and specifically EDM are a huge part of the whole thing. It's a cool premise with and an equally cool aesthetic but there are problems getting in the way of the attitude it's trying to portray.

The art is great but the story is utter crap. I see networks passing.

The premise, the writing, the visual style...everything about this sounds like a comic book from the 90's, the latter years of Dark Ages. So hip, so gangsta, so edgy, and so dark. And so full of future cyberpunk slang. It has a lot of potential to go right, but it also has so much potential to go wrong.

It sounds like the voices were picked off the street, or at least off the staff. Getting good actors seems to be the most common problem an indie film encounters, probably due to how expensive it can be.
Then again, the animation is solid, which I'd guess should be even more expensive.

Like the aesthetic and bright neons, but needs a redub BADLY, and maybe a few more inbetweens because the motions seem kind of jerky.

I had been wondering what happened to this project. I remember it being mentioned awhile back and then things went silent. So things are still a go. Good news to hear.

I'm getting that Dystopian Cyberpunk feeling I so enjoy! The same feeling I get while watching Blade Runner, Split Second, Dark City, Ergo Proxy, Armitage III, playing Shadowrun Returns and much more,
