While I'm grateful that we're getting the Standard New 3DS bundles with the Red and Blue Versions, I would be super-thrilled if Nintendo were to debut a bundle featuring the Yellow Version of Pokémon.

Oh hot damn, that 3DS! Is it a regular New 3DS or a New XL? That XL is oh so very very important to me, after all. Either way, I'll be downloading a copy of Red or Blue (not sure which) come next month.
It's weird, for all the innovations that the series has made since gen 1 (like actually making psychic Pokemon weak to ghost types like it was supposed to be, and introducing good ghost and bug moves on Pokemon that weren't half-poison in the first place, and things like running, and better menu systems, and being able to hold more than 20 items, move deleters, breeding, Gen IV's mega important physical/special split, the list never ends), I'm secretly hoping that it's going to keep all its glorious bugs and glitches and I'll be killing Missingno in no time. I know they're adding wifi for trading/battling, and I'm all for that (I mean, it's not like we really need to hook 3DSs up with cords, after all, it's a logical way to make the game have its full usability in modern times, and there'd be no other way to get Alakazam, Golem, Machamp, or Gengar), but there's a certain charm to keeping the original games exactly how they were otherwise. If they want to change it for reals, I guess they could have a do-over on Gen 1, yet again (Fire Red/Leaf Green did come out ages ago, during Gen III, after all), and I'll totally throw money at that too.

I'm pretty sure those are not XLs. the swappable plates are indicative of the standard New 3DS (and I don't see XL anywhere on the box)

Great to see the regular new 3DS getting another release, probably going to pick this one up since I've been wanting to upgrade to a New 3DS (not XL) for a while. Not a pokemon fan, but I figure I can import some faceplates or something , which is something I really like about the regular N3DS.

So, New 3DS is exclusive to NA and the 2DS is exclusive to Europe. Why does it always have to be like this? What's the point? Why not just release all of them everywhere?
Whatever. I've never been one to pay extra for cosmetics anyway.

Wait, so no 3DS bundles for Europe? That sucks!

The color-commemorated 2DS bundles aren't of your interest?

There's also the Fairy-types putting those Dragon-types in their place and actually making Poison-type attacks useful.
Maybe it was a bit much though...a Pokémon like Tyrantrum would be stomping over a lot of other Pokémon if it were from even one generation earlier. (Doesn't stop me from using Tyrantrum in Ranked though!)
