I would have watched it if it had this. Like Power Rangers from my childhood except better and modernized.

Wait, so the title says it's for a rejected Power Rangers movie, but at the bottom of the article it gives a March 2017 release date? Is that for a different Power Rangers movie than the one for which this concept art was made?

Reminds me of Movieverse Transformers.
Zordon does not look good.

The concept art was for a failed pitch, which is stated in the article. Saban is making a power rangers movie that will be coming out in 2017 so they picked someone elses pitch, which has a different concept artist.

I would have seen the movie on day 1 first ever screening in whatever country/city/etc. if that was happening.

Of course, even if they could make Rita look "cool", that still brings up the question of how they could retcon Bulk & Skull.

I figured they'd try to turn this into Bayformers.

Give us some good humor that was missing from the serious Power Rangers back then. All I wanted was action back then but humor would have prepared me for things in life too besides posing and waving my evil staff around with my fabulous Repulsa hairdo.
She was the coolest person I knew back then.

So he basically wanted Rita to look like Trakeena from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

"kinda fun trying to make power rangers cool..."
Yeah, because Power Rangers weren't cool for the last 20+ years until you came around.

This. It's like every failed adaptation where they had no idea what made the original popular in the first place.

These are all awful and I'm glad they were rejected.
