@CallumKeyblade

That makes sense.
Now that I look closely I see that each title has one, and only one, column with two dots.

It does seem odd though that it says that Yo-kai Watch made most of its money from novels. Novels?

A few more months and One-Punch Man would have gone all the way to the top. At least one of the top 3 positions. At LEAST!

Not with those mediocre blue ray disc sales or above average manga sales. Maybe top 10. But top 3? Nah?

Nice to see Seven Deadly Sins at #3. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a shonen series to such an extent.

The manga got a huge boost in 2014, but I haven't been seeing it on many selling lists in 2015. The discs for the anime weren't out for long enough (or was the first volume not even out at all?) to sell much. Not like the anime is a particularly high selling one, anyway.

Aragoto's DVD/BDs hasn't started to come out yet, so it obviously hasn't been in any charts. As for the manga, the latest volume seems to have sold around 200K, which is nothing to scoff at, imho, but it doesn't seem to have a noticeable anime boost. Season 1 seems to have made around 5K average, which I guess can be counted as at least "successful"

Noragami is definitely a success, just not a "Top Selling Media Franchise" level, at least considering only these parameters. I have no idea how much the stage plays and etc planned for the series move cash.

Really says a lot about OPM that it's so far up mostly on the strength of its manga. Imagine where it would be if it had aired earlier in the year.

It's amazing how high Tokyo Ghoul is on the list considering how poorly the anime has sold (I think barely 2k average for both seasons?). Magi is another unexpected show, since the anime ended almost two years ago and wasn't a particular big seller (somewhere in the 3-4K spectrum). I really hope that, seeing how successful it continues to be, and with the upcoming Sinbad anime, we'll finally get the rest of the manga animated
