Eh...mixed thoughts on this now and we still don't yet know the format. I'm guessing it's a TV series but who knows.

Yes, exactly what this franchise needed MORE ugly CGI. Ugh. What a disappointment I guess I'll watch it whatever it is, whenever it comes out, but I'm definitely not excited about it at all

I don't have a problem with CGI, but Berserk deserves a better treatment.

oh..... well this doesn't look like Studio 4c at all.
looks like there following 4c in doing the all revealed parts (e.g. the face) in 2d.
tbh I don't care if it's cgi or 2d once it's enjoyable. if I enjoy it is won't complain. and this does look like it will be very enjoyable

Looks pretty terrible, I guess just can't be translated to Anime. Just have to stick with the Manga.

Goodness... That was short but intense. I don't have a beef against CGI like the most, I mean, it doesn't affect the overall story anyways.
My only wish was for Canna Nobutoshi to reprise his Guts, the new one sucked as hell...

I'm in the "will watch anyway" camp, but, man... Hopefully, the CGI will look better in the final product.

I think it's being done by a studio called Kuro? Anyway, the CG, while not amazing, is watchable. The close-up of Guts's face before he swung his sword, looked like traditional animation. It moves stiffly, but the scene itself was pretty cool. And if it's a TV series, the quality of the CG is understandable.
At this point, **** it, I'll take it, it's Berserk lol. Hopefully, they'll capture the story and characters well.
EDIT: Changed my thoughts, perhaps was being too critical.

Looks about as awful as expected given the earlier info.

Well, on the bright side, maybe there's a chance the Blu Ray edition of the original series will be released in the west.

With such a sporadic release schedule, I really lost my interest in following the manga because of all the hiatuses. I guess Kentarou Itou is in no hurry to get the ball rolling and progress the story, you asshole.

Really liked the original TV Series and loved the movies. It's only a small clip but looks really good. Hopefully it'll pick up after the last movie without to much of a time skip.

Trailer did everything right except to use CG. It really is a shame. Maybe in another decade we'll get a good Berserk anime.
