Yay BL but exactly how old is that one boy supposed to be? The answer might make me pass on this one.

Looks like the oldest/youngest sibling are the main pair judging by the promo art. Eh, might as well go for all the taboos.

You failed Rule 2 of Teh Rules (the list that appears every time one posts): "Post relevant, thoughtful responses; avoid lists and one-liners"
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out if the dark-haired boy is significantly younger than his brother (well, step-brother but of course if they grew up together it wouldn't make any difference) or if he's just "drawn that way" or whatever.

I read the manga (sue me), and I'm really looking forward to seeing how Yoshiko Nakamura will adapt the scripts. Not looking forward too much to the direction by Shini Ishihira...

It's complicated.
They aren't blood-related; the eldest's mother lives in Canada and adopted the youngest when the eldest was...I think 15? While the youngest was...I want to say 8. They didn't get along at first, when the eldest met the youngest during a summer he spent in Canada, and they separated for a while when the eldest moved back to Japan.
Then, lots of tragedy happens, and the youngest eventually moves to Japan when he's...13/14 I think?
They have a really weirdly intimate relationship, but no real funny stuff starts to happen between them until the youngest is 15, IIRC, so I guess make your judgment on whether or not you'll try it based on that.
They aren't blood-related and have never had a brotherly relationship, but the eldest has TRIED to think of them as brothers because he's always wanted a normal family of his own (which he gains to some degree when he, his two twin half-brothers, and the youngest start living together), so he struggles with treating the youngest like a real little brother vs. like a lover, when the youngest very adamantly wants them to have a much more lover-like relationship.
I don't like incest, or even pseudo-incest, but I like Abe's art, and the series does a good job of balancing comedy and drama, I think, and isn't nearly as skeevy as something from, say, Nakamura Shungiku. Still, it definitely will not appeal to everyone.

I haven't read the series, but from reading comments/profiles, it looks like he starts out as 8 (as he's depicted in the image) and then a time skip pegs him at 16.
So... More looking forward to reading reviews than actually watching this.
EDIT:
fencer_x explained in more detail there.

Thank you fencer_x and RestLessone for elaborating!
From what you've explained, I guess I will at least check it out and decide based on the tone the show takes, i.e. if I feel it's being too "creepy" (for lack of a better word). But I am a bit relieved to know that the first pic is before a time-skip and perhaps not representative of the character design for most of the show.

This is something that really makes a difference for me. Anime loves to do the whole "oh but they aren't actually blood-related" to justify incest anime, but I think the blood-relation is a lot less important than whether or not they grew up and see each other as siblings or not. I'd find it more healthy and less skeevy if Character A and B were siblings that had never met before and never even knew of the other's existence (parent married a second time/ mothers used in-vitro fertilization, what have you) and just happen to fall in love when they finally meet (say Brother's Conflict, even though I dropped it because it was terrible). But stories about two people who grew up as siblings and always saw each other as siblings and still fall in love with each other only to discover that they're not actually blood-related are just... ugh (say Suguha's storyline in SAO). I'm glad to know this one won't be one such case, this makes me even more excited about it

I will most definitely give this a try. Looks interesting and I highly enjoyed Hakkenden's art style. I'm sure it'll be the same case with the Super Lovers art. It already looks amazing!

So this is like a TV version of Papa to Kiss in the Dark? They aren't that crazy to do lewd stuff with that 8 year old kid right?
