Kind of a relief for me seeing I was afraid it would be sub only, but kind of a shame for the fans who want their Japanese audio track. I kinda like it when both fandoms get what they want...

semi disappointed but as long as it gets here!
I would be extremely disappointed if Europe only gets a digital release for Vita tho, but seeings its Namco I hope it definitely gets a physical copy.

its great as long as they bring the same cast from the GE Burst dub
I still think that Soma's english dub voice is better than the original, probably because I played the game before watching the anime ????

Usually this would have gotten me upset, but since it's a hunting game it doesn't bother me. since having played freedom wars not having a dub made the experience less engaging since I couldn't understand what the AI teammates were saying while on the battlefield.

Stinks for fans of Japanese VA but as a fan of English dubs myself this is essentially a confirmation of a dub and I couldn't be happier

English-only dub is not an issue for me, but it sucks for Japanese VA fans. It's a business decision after all.

So weird. Fans of niche games like this seem to highly prefer Japanese audio. :\
I honestly might not buy it because of this, unless I can completely mute the voices separate from the game audio. ENG voices in these games tend to be bad.

I've played 70+ hours in God Eater Burst (which had english dub only), the dub there was way better than what I expected, whether you like it or not is up to you though
I just hope that they will bring the same dub cast from GE Burst.

I don't know how people that wanted the track feel, but I'm relieved that this game is going to have an English dub to begin with. After all, I remember playing One Piece: Unlimited World Red (or something) and it didn't have an English track. I had to read relatively small text to understand what people were saying, keeping my eyes tracked to the bottom of the screen while fighting opponents. Am I the only one who has that problem in sub-only video game releases?

I think that's highly debatable. Many video game publishers constantly come out and state that games with English dubs lead to greater sales then games with only subs. Also add that people who comment on websites like this and the many other websites that deal with niche Japanese games are probably the hardcore/passionate minority who at least vocally tend to be more pro sub then pro dub, while the majority who purchase said games either don't visit said said or they don't comment.
I do agree that many companies of niche Japanese games with limited mainstream market tend to release their games sub only as dubs cost money and it can be too risky to dub something that wont sell much but that's mostly a business decision money wise because there is always a large audience who prefers dubs.
To wrap things up I'm certainly not arguing that most people prefer English dubs as there is also a large fanbase who prefer Japanese VA but I believe many Japanese VA fans often vastly underestimate how many people prefer or enjoy dubs in games/anime or are indifferent. That being said dual audio is always the best option for everyone and I'm curious to see if there was any things preventing the use of the Jpn VA as Japan seems to be quite protective of their VA for certain games.

Seeing as how most of the "talking" in a lot of hunter games comes from repetitive shout outs from teammates that you eventually just sort of ignore and various grunts, with respect to total play time invested; it would seem kind of silly to me to complain about a lack of Japanese dub.
