Didn't they used to do the side stories as filler? When did they stop that?

Most likely information on the new movie including some (if not all) of the following: movie name, release date, proper trailer, who's performing the movie's theme song, maybe something stating oda's involvement, maybe some sort of merchandise related to the movie or some sort of gift for those who pre-order tickets.

The show won't go on hiatus simply because it's too much of a cash cow: people can complain about the Dressrosa Arc (and it is indeed insanely long) but the show's ratings have actually gone up during this storyline, and DVD sales have held strong. No reason why Toei would take it off the air at this point. A filler arc is probably inevitable, though. But filler doesn't typically get hyped like this, so I'm sure the announcement is more info about the new movie.

Luffy's getting a new hat! A fedora! Or maybe Nami admits she stuffs her bras which is why since the show started her boobs have gone from small-medium to porn star level. Maybe Sanji admits he actually gets his recipes from Rachel Ray. I always knew it.

I only recall - aside from the Straw Hat separation stories - Colby and Helmeppo's side-story getting animated. It's not a bad idea, but if you take out the Straw Hat separation stories (which were included for obvious reasons) they haven't done it in well over a decade, and even then, only did it once (unless I'm wrong). |

Why would luffy get a new hat? The one he wears is a keepsake of shanks and originally belonged to the pirate King. I have been updated with one piece for years and have never heard of a character named name. And I don't think Rachel Ray would know how to cook food made from random animals and sea monsters much less make a refined recipe of them. Honestly do you know anything about the series besides its cover picture?

A. Actually, while I am not caught up on every episode nor a "master" of the show who could answer any trivia pursuit question on it, I actually yes do know plenty about the show and watch it. B. "Name" was a typo, supposed to Nami. Pardon me for typing too fast and having such an egregious mistake in my post. I'll work harder to make sure I don't do that again to avoid upsetting you and everyone else here. C. It's a brand new revolutionary idea called a joke. Hopefully this idea catches on at some point. I think it could go places. *And just so it's clear (because at this point I would hate to take a chance and shame my emperor even more with another mistake) this post is another new magical idea I hope catches on soon. It's called sarcasm. Tis truly a bright future we head towards with such marvelous new ideas. |
