Looks like Bushiroad going for an older otaku crowd with an original card game IP...
I don't know if that's going to work... In the past the health of the card game really focused on the card shops, but that's something that you tend to grow out of. But maybe they're hoping to keep their fans of vanguard/etc who have gotten a little older coming with a property that better appeals to them.

Seems pretty meh aside from the uniforms.. dem short shorts and leggings.
I don't know much of anything about the card game's mechanics, but it seems to be pinning alot of its hope in the arts (which looks nice, but I'm not a fan of how different variants of the same character has different artists, and it's clearly selling to a certain market). The way the Trainer-esque cards fuse with the monsters is cool in concept though.
In the end, I'm neutral to it, as someone who dabbles in card games. It's not likely to come stateside anyhow.

I feel like that kind of market is already covered by their other games, Weiss Schwarz and Chaos. Especially the former due to mechanical similarities with VG. Although they don't need to worry about licensing here.
This seems like it'll very much rely on the anime version to boost interest, rather than tapping into the sort of inbuilt fanbase they get with their licensed games.

The music and animations looks pretty, and in theory it seems like it could be interesting (settings/mechanic-wise, and cast & crew-wise), but I also thought the same about Winter 2014's Z/X: Ignition, and that ended up being "meh."

Learning TCGs can be a hassle for me, so I'll just watch the anime for Chiaki Omigawa

Well, I thought the story was neat to a degree, but those character designs range from just bleak to hideous. I'll be passing just on that. Also there's only like two guys for a bunch of girls, so I can already feel where this is gunna go. I'll be passing.
