It should be noted that this was one of the titles that Crunchyroll got home video rights for (source) so with this happening now, it might lead to good news for Free, 5 Centimeters Per Second & their other DVD-only titles if they go back to getting Blu-ray rights for those in the future.

Unlike most other times when a series is delayed...this one actually has a good reason...i will gladly wait a little longer if this also gets a blu ray treatment Smile..... i was so pissed that not only it won't get dubbed but also dvd only ..it felt so wasted as this would be good on blu ray...but now that it will get a blu ray ..i am happy to wait a little longer...i just hope the movies get released in the west too but lets take it one step at a time.

Oh really? I wasn't particularly interested in Arpeggio, but this is encouraging for their other shows that I would have picked up on Blu-ray.
With rightstuf finally putting out Blu-ray sets as well, maybe there are finally enough consumers who buy BD only, that DVD-only releases aren't financially worth it anymore.

That's good news because the era of buying DVD to keep should be over. Even my library is starting to add BDs to its collection, which is fantastic.

Reps from Discotek have mentioned numerous times that they're too small a company, and can't accord to produce dubs. That said, if somebody else, like the licensor, is footing the bill...

Its nice they're finally doing blu-ray of the Crunchyroll shows. DVD of HD native anime isn't worth buying.

Damn, sucks about the delay but blu-ray is cool. Shame about no dub, but I hope they at least have textless openings and endings because nano's opening theme is awesome.

I highly suggest watching this series. It's one of those weird series where its ok the first 5 episodes but after that, it's great
