Ah so it will be a TV show after all despite not having much volumes. The key visual caught my interest though because it seems to be distorted somewhat purposely so might be a hint to something.

I found the synopsis to be very similar to Kyōkai no Kanata's. I hope this time the character interactions between the leads will be with a bit more meaning than Kanata's at times shōnen-y level.

Interesting. The director/series composition staff pairing also did the first 3 Key adaptations. I'll be impressed if they can elevate this rather worn-out "harem-esque magic high school" subgenre.

It's battle harem shit... But it's KyoAni.... Oh well, I'm only watching two shows this winter so might as well tack it on there as well since I'll be doing nothing over winter break.

Kurumi's hairdo looks...uniquely interesting, with her pigtails being at the front of her head.

Anyhow, Myriad Colors has gotten my interest. I await to see how the show will play out.

For the people complaining about it being a harem already....

Is it REALLY a harem? Have you read the source and confirmed this? Or does it just have more male characters than female?

I don't mind gender imbalance when there's no focus on the romance of one character.

Also, Kurumi is hella cute with those horns.

I only read the first volume though, from what I read so far...


I would say the romance aspect is no really the main focus, since the novel spends quite some time on exposition and conflicts.

Then again, Kyoani adaptation on light novels, especially from their own Bunko, tend to modify source material A LOT....you never know though.
