Am I wrong to expect Charlotte to perform better than this, being Maeda's child after all (also considering Aniplex' marketing machine)?
Meanwhile, yay for Overlord.... and ouch for School Live.

School Live NO! It should have done better. Guess the Japanese dont care much for zombie shows like the people in the US do. Also expected a lot better from a Fate series...

No those are some punishing first week numbers especially considering unlike everything else on the list from this summer it had the full week of sales while the rest had 3-4 days and it was easily expected to cross the 15-20K mark and be well above the market potential of this season at the very least given the popularity of the Key brand and Aniplex marketing machine. Instead it's right in there in the pack and as of now it's the worst selling thing in Key's catalogue by a pretty noteworthy margin. Even Little Busters managed 10K first week. For something that was supposed to correct the mistakes of Angel Beats which sold 5 times as much I'd say that's a big lose.
Not everything is out yet but these are some pretty bad all around sales.

Holy overestimation batman, those amazon editions really got us a lot of overestimations.
Overlord did way worse than expected. Seems like we'll need to stop counting the amazon editions.

It performed way better than its amazon ranking would have suggested.

Expected, by whom?
It never did that good on amazon to suggest it would break 10k wk1.

I'm 90% sure that this is a similar situation with G-Reco v1 in which Oricon fucked up and didn't count the Amazon editions only to a wider scale unfortunately we will not find out if its true or not until each series gets their respective second volume release next month also there's always Sound Scan to see if there's a huge difference in sales tallies (SS is always the same as Oricon only slightly higher).

It must be a really slow week for all shows with sales numbers this low.

Most weeks have a threshold far below 945 disc sold, not exactly a slow week.

What doe they mean by "Limited Complete Pressing"? Now, if Sentai had gotten this (since they/ADV have/had licenses to other Key/Jun Maeda titles) and had Josh Grelle play the lead, that would be something. This is because Josh would again Kouki Uchiyama's counterpart (the other being Infinite Stratos) and because Josh is a Charlotte from IS fan.

About this week's rank, they did not count with the Amazon releases.
Overlord sold like there weren't even copies from there (4,7K without Amazon it's not bad at all, considering most of the sales for this title came from there).
The same goes for Gakkou Gurashi (this one probably sold at least 2-3K more on amazon).
What impresses me the most though is Charlotte. It sold like that without Amazon, and the predictions were way bellow this (it probably sold more than Little Busters!, one of the most famous Key series). Being one of the weakest Key title to date, I did not expected to be so well received haha

They probably only forgot the amazon editions for the 25/9 releases.
23/9 seems fine going by the volume drops.

Charlotte domination. Not really. Of course F/K did poorly. Doesn't get interesting until the Vol. 4, and even then... Come on TLR.

Some of these titles have been out for a whopping 4 days. Some as short as 2. Anything above rank 11 will probably break 4k by next week. Ill save my doom and gloom for then.

It does not matter on what day they are released. Most sales are from pre-sales day(pre-orders) and sale day.
