I know my choices aren't popular, but I love Legend of Mana and Valkyrie Profile.
I'm the type of person who gets bored fast, so most of the time I don't bother to replay or start new game plus. Only a very few titles that I don't mind to replay for several times, including LoM and VP.

lol I'd like to see first poster Pure-stealth MGS. Not "Easy". While I do agree most polls just show overrated things, Metal Gear Solid paved the way for cinematics in video games - something we take for granted now days but adds a lot to our gaming experiences. It definitely deserves to be up in the top levels. Bandicoot on the other hand I disagree it. I didn't feel like it did much special for me, and the character I forgot about until just now.

Never played mgs1, love the other games in the list though. Crash Bandicoot was my main ps1 game. With Tomb Raider 3, Pandemonium and demo version of Cool Boarders lol.

Finally, seeing FF7 as the second place makes me happy because I thought that it was the most overrated game in existence.
Crash Bandicoot PS games FTW

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for me. Can't think of any game I spent more time with on the PS1, both just playing it and bugging the hell out of it to get extra % on the map.

So many great games on the list. Just limiting myself to choosing one of the Squaresoft games was difficult, but ultimately I have to go with Final Fantasy VIII. It's not the best in the series, but it'll always be my favorite.

I remember my friend making a blueprint of Metal Gear Solid so he can navigate pass guards without being seen. I thought he was crazy at the time and when I brought it up that he did that, he denied the whole thing. Weirdo.
Anyway, on to my favorite PS games: even though Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back was the first game that got me hooked on gaming(thanks to those Demo Disks. Remember them???), I absolutely fell in love with Spyro the Dragon(also from a Demo Disk. Those things were awesome!).

Final Fantasy IX. Not only is it my favorite game in the PS1 library (which is a strong library so that's saying something) but it's also my favorite game of all time.

I'd agree with MGS1 being on top, at least for me. It is the one PS1 game that I still come back to from time to time. Plus, it contributed heavily to my love of games and anime.

Well Metal Gear Solid is a classic PSX game but I wouldn't say it was the best PSX game of all time.
Still things like ''Best'' are subjective, For me FFIX was the best PSX game ever but not for other PSX players

I can understand games but why anime?
Konami and Capcom both to me always felt like they made western style games, hell the protagonist in there most well known works tend to be American, Silent Hill, MGS, Resident Evil. They don't really give up an anime feel unlike jrpgs.
Personally I think Suikoden I or II should have been on the list.
