I know a lot of people buy their manga online- but I'm only able to really go to the store and buy. So every week I look up printable coupons. I was printing out my Borders coupons for the week and I thought i'd share them. - Plus I saw several good deals for other stores.

Borders

Barnes and Noble

Best Buy

Hope that helps- and maybe we can make this a regular thing every week.

note: expired deals removed

This is your friendly negihborhood Bookstore coupon gal. I just felt the overwhelming need to add this sentence so people have a better understand of this post. Carry on.

Sweet. I recognize the 20% off Borders coupon from their email but where'd you get the 30% off?

I frequent a lot of different coupon sites- I'm as cheap as possible.

This particular 30% one came from here
borders coupons

But the sites change every week- one week one site will have a great deal or another will, so I make sure to jump around a lot.

Good find. I might go to the bookstore tomorrow (I'm hoping to get Kashimashi vol. 3) but its the 3-day no tax weekend, so it will be really busy.

Note: went to borders today and was informed its one of the times of year where they let you redeem some of your points if you're a Borders rewards member. Just remember to ask if you have any- as the last three times i've gone to borders they haven't mentioned it.

I apparently had $16.50- so when I used 30% on my manga it came to $7.90 and w/ my rewards it took from my pot of points before tax- so I got the book for $7.66. (without paying any cash! Anime smile)

Expired

*i'll try to get to Best Buy as soon as possible to get the other deals

So normally I try to buy my manga in store. I won't be able (at this point) to get on this sale but it doesn't mean someone esle can't.

I try to post for people who are store bound like me, but I thought everyone could enjoy this!

It makes me want to drive to Ontario.
I've never heard of these people, I don't know anything about their service but their prices make me die inside. I just was looking for textbooks (shows you how many I found) and bam! I see this.

bookcloseouts.com

I don't know when this ends. Someone who orders let me know what you think- I will defintly think of driving to their store next weekend. if they aren't good please let me know so I can stop plugging them!

Time to build up those shelves. I see at least 25 titles I want to purchase.

no prob reeca. I aim to please

It's that time again. I just moved into the dorm and i'm already feeling book withdrawl. Besides living in a box I want this box to be as filled with books (school books too!) as possible. Time to save money!

In regards to the bookcloseouts.com deal:

It's something that's been going on for quite a while, but you may not want to order from this site if you're worried about the condition of your books. Because these are closeout books and have been sitting on shelves some can be damaged. There is not too much quality control.

When I ordered Dragon Knights V 1-18 I got books that were in perfect condition, books with faded spines, some had bent covers, others security stickers stuck the cover that do not come off with out ripping the cover. You can't ever be sure what you'll recieve if you order online.

In terms of service they wer pretty good and you can find quite a few coupons online (just type bookcloseouts coupons into any search engine) to supplement the savings.

Thank you for that info! I was thinking about getting fruits basket 3-15?16? from there. I figured the newer ones couldn't be too bad off.
Plus you figure with a price that good there must be some kinks!

it's that time again. You're pocket book has moths flying out of it, you don't even have any pennies left and you've turned in all of your pop cans. You manage to find $10 precious dollars under your bed.
What's a college student to do?

Eat? But more pens? Buy beer? No! Go to the bookstore and buy some good old manga.

But how? $10 isn't enough! Surely it will cost me $10.58! I don't have $10.58!

Never fear- the bookstore coupon chick is here!
