I think this may be a live action movie. If animated, most definitely anime original material or a recap (less likely imo).

If anything, I'd say it's most likely to be a recap. Not much else to be told except perhaps a focus on side-character's life but that would be bizarre and shouldn't be under the Kimiuso name, but rather a spin-off title.

I didn't really like the series, because from about episode 2 all I was filled with a sense of dread...
So, the only thing that would interest me is an epilogue. |

I immediately thought recap movie, but a live action movie of this could be good. I would definitely watch it. But my cynical side says terrible, cash-in recap movie. The series sold pretty well, if I remember right. So it wouldn't surprise me. |

Whether it will be a live-action adaptation or an animated recap, just the thought of cramming all that content into a 2-hours-ish movie screams "bad idea." If it will take a different focus, thought, like expand of the characters' childhood, or post-epilogue (epilogue to the epilogue?), it might work better.

I really can't imagine covering the story in a feature length film. It would take at a couple to cover the whole story. I'm not really sure what to expect from this...
But I'll watch it when it comes out, that's for sure! I love the story, even though... spoiler[it is painful... very painful... but as a certain trumpet player in a later series stated - But I don't hate pain.] |
