If this person is looking to get rid of the DVDs, then they can either rely on a streaming copy, or burn their bootlegs and get rid of the physical media.

In answer to the basic question, most paper shredders will handle DVDs. Some even come with a special slot for them. That is the appropriate destination for bootlegs you want to get rid of. Giving them away or donating to charity just perpetuates the problem.

Open burning is frowned on in most locals.

Thanks! As for the bootleg, it's three discs in a trifold case with art of Subaru and Tsukasa on the front and back.
