Good choice for this. I hope they bring some other recent titles to light, at least the ones that have become more well known.

They better not censor. There are some... disturbing... scenes, omitted from the currently airing anime...

While I'm incredibly hyped about this the fact that this is their first manga release makes me nervous. Hopefully they have some contacts within the industry(Seven Seas is the only manga publisher in LA right?) to help them out. I also hope that all these companies jumping into the manga game isn't a sign of another bubble...

Depends. Has anyone seen their anime releases? If so, those will probably show a good indication on how much they'll censor stuff.

From what I've heard it's very pro-Japan, and does suggest that both the US and Chinese military are incompetent, but I've not heard anything about it being overtly racist, just incredibly nationalistic.

Yeah I had started reading the manga the other day and it doesn't seem overtly racist as far as I see, just nationalistic as you said. Which I don't really have a problem with, to be honest it's refreshing seeing different viewpoints.

Judging by the thumbnail on the main page, Tuka Luna Marceau will handle a rocket launcher at some point, ha? Sweet.

They were (and still are) translating & publishing VNs, not dealing with anime.

Well, let's see if they can actually manage to make this work. Entering into a new field is always tuff.

Given the content they deal with in VN I sincerely doubt they wpuld change anything and not say anything about it.

Interesting, a new player heads into the field of manga. I've no interest in Gate, but I do wonder if Sekai will be doing digital only releases for awhile (or maybe that's the only plan).
If so, they won't end up getting any of my money. But, it's nice to see them take a shot at manga, hope it does well for them.
