Hey guys I came across this while I was surfing the net. Why don't you guys check out this site (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aoh5rja4gqgbvTczCSyeMvsjzKIX?qid=20070411170459AAFY3Gj) yes the whole thing, copy and paste it in your address bar
and sign the petition please to give your support. Thanks. The petition is in Spanish though so maybe you guys who do not know Spanish might want to use a translator first. And for the last required column just put in your postcode or state I think. So, all fans come on in and sign it and hopefully it will work. Remember there is power in unity.

Ranma's manga ended in 1996. It's been 11 years since then. Also with 38 volumes, any more would feel pointless. Rumiko is doing Inuyasha, even though it's highly repetitive, id rather see her do something else instead of continuing Ranma.

38 is quite enough for the series, I don't see how she can go past 50 with Inuyasha. That said and done, I'm gone.

There will never be another manga like Ranma, including another Ranma. The rest of Ranma 1/2 story is up to us now Smile

Well she does have a staff helping her put these out right?

Anyway although I like Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2 i think these could have been manga and tv series that could've been 10 volumes or 52 episodes of greatness rather than 38+ manga or 200+ eps. of mostly crap.

Well yeah Ranma 1/2 may be done but I sometimes kinda feel like the ending was not very good like sort of a part 1 ending thing. So, i guess that it will be apporpriate for her to come out with a sequel.

She already has. The final volume was published in March in Japan.

So it is total of 4 volumes eh? cool. Hope Viz rerelease it in right to left format now that it's complete.

No way, the ending totally fit with the spirit of the manga. Having a real definite end to Ranma, as good as it might have potentially been, would have been utterly predictable and unsatisfying in the long run.

I think 38 volumes is more than enough Ranma, and I say that as someone who loves the series.

I second that! 1PG is one of my favorite manga series, and I really, really want to read the end of it.

Sorry for bumping this old thread, but I only recently "discovered" the Ranma series and right now I want nothing more in life than a continuation of the manga or another anime season at least Crying or Very sad and this upcoming OVA only fuels the fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnIPfhvsB7c

Ranma ½ had such a great open-ended formula and loads of lovable characters who could do just about anything (and they did) and it wouldn't seem out of place, it was that crazy to begin with already! and Akane & Ramna's relationship is a refreshing change from the usual anime romances.

Oh and Happosai > everyone in every anime Laughing

Nowadays, a lot of people are going in different countries, and they do not know how to speak their language, like Spanish. That is good if you have to learn first, or you have a translator. Yeah, I think postcode or state is important to sign in on that site.
