I think this could get the highest honor if Miyazaki or Diana Wynne Jones themselves were there to say that they liked it. While I am more of the type that would cosplay by buying the costumes online since I don't really have the patience to make it myself, I do recognize the talent that people have in the hard work they do for making their own cosplay outfits.
